The Chitungwiza Junior Football Development League held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday at the Aquatic Complex, where the incumbent executive committee received a fresh mandate, extending their tenure until 2026.
The AGM served as a platform to reflect on the 2024 season and discuss plans for the upcoming 2025 season, with a strong emphasis on player, coach, and referee development. The league outlined initiatives such as coaching clinics and specialized training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge within the local football ecosystem.
Fair play, sportsmanship, and youth development within the Chitungwiza community remained central to the league’s mission. The league reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a positive and nurturing environment for young footballers.
The 2025 season is set to commence with what promises to be an exciting Under 14 Tournament on March 15th, 2025 at Chibuku Stadium.
New clubs and academies are warmly invited to join the league for the upcoming season.Player registration and the comprehensive vetting process will commence on February 14th, 2025.
