The 2024 Chitungwiza Junior Football Development League (CJFDL) came to an electrifying conclusion, celebrating a season filled with talent, passion, and competitive spirit across the vibrant footballing town of Chitungwiza.

This year, the league showcased an impressive 22 teams and 1,760 players, making it a record-breaking season. Young footballers displayed exceptional skills, determination, and tactical prowess, proving that Chitungwiza is a hub for budding football talent. The league continued its mission of fostering fair play, sportsmanship, and player development, creating a platform for young athletes to shine.

CJFDL Chairperson, Mr. Tapfuma Makufa, expressed gratitude to teams, coaches, parents, sponsors, and volunteers for their contributions to the league’s success. Looking ahead to 2025, the league plans to expand and include even more young players, reinforcing its commitment to nurturing the next generation of football stars in Chitungwiza.
