The Chitungwiza Aquatic Complex is poised to trade splashes for sprints as it host the prestigious International Handball Federation Zone 6 Games.

From Tuesday, April 29th, 2025, to Sunday, May 4th, 2025, the complex will transform into a battleground for budding handball talent from across Southern Africa. Eight nations are set to descend upon Chitungwiza, bringing with them the passion and skill of their Under-18 and Under-20 ladies’ national teams.

Host nation Zimbabwe will welcome competitors from Zambia, Malawi, South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland, Namibia, and Lesotho for what promises to be a thrilling week of handball competition.

The event promises to showcase the best of youth handball, fostering sportsmanship and unity among participating nations. Organizers have expressed enthusiasm about the potential for local teams to shine on home soil, while also providing a platform for competitors to demonstrate their skills.

Local sports enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the chance to witness high-level regional handball on their doorstep.
