
Three promising young talents from the Chitungwiza Junior Football Development League (CJFDL) were today honored at the Seke 1 High School Prize Giving Ceremony, celebrating their exceptional contributions to football and sport.
The ceremony, held at the school, highlighted the dedication and skill present within Chitungwiza’s burgeoning football scene.
Takunda Musapurwa and Luckmore Muronzi, both players from Ramah, were recognized for their outstanding performances within the Chitungwiza Junior Football Development League. Their consistent display of skill and sportsmanship in the season earned them well-deserved accolades, underscoring the success of the CJFDL in nurturing local talent. The two players are part of the Harare Province Under 17 Select, set to participate at the Cosafa Under 17 National team trials.
Adding to the day’s triumphs, Takudzwa Darkeni of CSPRO received double honors for his remarkable achievements. Darkeni, who recently represented the nation at the prestigious AUSC Region 5 Games held in Namibia, was awarded as the best player in soccer. Furthermore, he was celebrated with the overall best performance in sport, a testament of his dedication, skill and hard work.
