In a heartwarming gesture of community care and support, Her Worship Councillor Rosaria Mangoma, the Mayor of Chitungwiza, distributed hampers to hundreds of vulnerable households at the Municipality’s Head Office today. The initiative, part of the Mayor’s Cheer Fund, brought smiles and hope to many struggling families.

“As we distribute these groceries, we are not only providing for physical needs but also spreading hope and warmth to the less fortunate,” said Mayor Mangoma during the event.

The distribution was made possible through the generosity of several donors, including Prophet Miracle Paul, Lobels, Nyaradzo Group, and the Chitungwiza Business Community Trust, led by its chairman, Mr. Tendai “Also” Mareya. The Mayor expressed deep gratitude to all contributors. “We are grateful to our community, local businesses, organisations, and donors for their support. Your contributions have made it possible for us to bring joy and relief to many families in Chitungwiza,” she said.
